JIMS' Corporate Resource Management Centre (CRMC) provides a regular interface between the institute and the industry.

The Center is responsible for

  • Maintaining regular interaction with the industry through seminars, industrial visits, conferences and other corporate interface events and programmes.

  • Providing requisite knowledge to students in areas of personality mapping & communication skills.
  • Organizing inter-cultural exchange with other institutions and industry.
  • Providing management consultancy on live projects.
  • Developing a resource base through product-specific and industry-specific studies.
  • Updation of curriculum as per changing business requirements.
  • Summer & Final Placement of Doeacc Students

The CRMC (Corporate Resource Management Centre ) is entrusted with the task of selecting, inviting and following up with the various corporate with whom JIMS intends to place its students. Further, this committee also arranges all Pre-Placement Talks on campus, along with the campus interviews . The campus recruitment program aims to match the aspirations of the future corporate leaders with the expectations of the corporate sector. The placement activity is coordinated by the students, headed by the Corporate Affairs Division comprising of Industry experts. CRMC identifies potential companies, makes presentations before select companies and co-ordinates with students in terms of matching their aspirations. The placement activity spreads over the year, wherein the CRMC makes special efforts to groom the students for them to face the corporate world.

Some of the placement Activities are

  • Career counseling by faculty and trained professionals in different functional areas from the corporate world
  • A structured Personality Development Programme, comprising of Group Discussion and behavioral skills, interview skills are imbibed by trainers and corporate alike.
  • Constant evaluation and upgradation of general Aptitude and Technical Skills.
  • Mentoring by the alumni, in terms of sharing experiences vis-à-vis realities of corporate life,refining expectations and projecting future trends.
