Course Objective

The DOEACC 'O' level is the Foundation (Junior Programmer) level course, which provides students with an insight into the operational and programming aspects of computers. The course structure has been designed keeping in mind a student who is a beginner in the world of computer but can be ultimately groomed as an assistant programmer and can start a career in computer operations in various fields. The course duration is of one year and is covered in approximately 480 contact hours. It comprises of four papers, a practical exam and a project leading to DOEACC 'O' Level certification.

The coverage of this course is intended to enable a student to acquire the knowledge pertaining to fundamentals of Information technology in areas like Operating Systems, Office Productivity Tools, Development of Business Systems, Internet and Programming.


Eligibility

10+2 or ITI certificate (one year) after class 10

Admissions

Candidates will be selected for the course on the basis of their academic performance/written test/ interview. Selected candidates will be admitted on a first-come basis.

Examinations

Examinations are conducted by the DOEACC Society in January and July each year on an all-India basis, Students will take the examinations as per DOEACC norms.

Award of DOEACC Qualifications

As student will be eligible for the award of 'O' level qualification as per DOEACC norms.

Internal Certification

Students will also be awarded suitable internal certification based on internal evaluation, in addition to a course completion certificate on successful completion of all modules.

  • M1-R4: IT Tools and Business System
  • M2-R4: Internet Technology and Web Design
  • M3-R4: Programming and Problem Solving Through ‘C’ Language
  • M4-R4: Elective: (One Module out of the following three modules to be chosen)
    • M4.1-R4 Application of .NET Technology
    • M4.2-R4 Introduction to Multimedia
    • M4.3-R4 Introduction to ICT Resources
  • PR Practical (Based on M1, M2, M3, M4 module syllabus)
  • PJ Project

Note: Electives will be offered as per the schedule of the institute and will be at the discretion of the management.
