Course Objective

An 'A' level qualifier is expected to be a key member of a software development team with all round capabilities to manager and guide a software project. In order to develop these, “A” level course has been so designed that a student acquires an in-depth knowledge of the key areas like the computer software, office suite products, knowledge of developing a business system module using database packages, problem solving skills using 'C' language, computer architecture, system software, software development life cycle, date-structure, database management system, operating system and UNIX, communication principles and networking, object oriented programming using C++/Java.

Eligibility

  • 10 + 2 undergoing graduation in any discipline
  • Graduate in any discipline
  • 10 + 2 with Polytechnic Engineering Diploma

Admissions

Candidates will be selected for the course on the basis of their academic performance/written test/interview. Selected candidates will be admitted on a first-come basis.

Examinations

Examinations are conducted by the DOEACC Society in January and July each year on an all-India basis. Students will take the examinations as per DOEACC norms. Award of DOEACC Qualification A student will be eligible for the award of 'A' level qualification as per DOEACC norms.

Duration

1 year (full-time), 2-3 years (part time)Scheme for 10 + 2 pass students along with graduation. The duration of the 'A' level course in part time study is around 3 years for undergraduates.

This is a unique scheme for students who have completed their 10 + 2 examinations. They can pursue the 'A' level course along with their graduation with a special 'examination break' plan.

In this way, the 'A' level course is completed by the time the students graduate, doubly qualifying them. Students can continue with DOEACC 'B' level after graduation and 'A' level. They get exemption for the first two semesters and complete the 'B' level in two-year fulltime study after graduation, thus saving one full year.

    • A10.1-R4 Introduction to Object-Oriented Programming through Java.
    • A10.2-R4 Software Testing and Quality Management
  • PR-1 Practical -1(Based on A1, A2, A3, A4 module syllabus)
  • Practical -2 (based on A5, A6, A7, A8, A9, A10 modules syllabus)
  • PJ Project
